Allah, I ask You
To let me confide in You.
At times of break
When my chest is heavy
I want to cry out loud alone.
But no one hears or sees me
Though I was right there.
When I want to run away from everything.
Then, too, let me run only to You.
When I want to turn away from everyone
Let me never turn away from You and Your obedience.
Let me, even at my weakest, never disobey You.
Never let my tongue say what will enrage You.
Never let me do what will make a wall between You and me.
And even if I fall
O Allah,
Guide me to ask You to forgive me.
When I do have begged for Your forgiveness, O Allah,
Have mercy and forgive me.
Without Your Pleasure
I will lose and with Your Pleasure
I thrive.

Let me confide in You too
At times of delight.
At times when everything is bright
When pain what was left long ago.
When Your blessings are flooded on my door
Let me remember You after
You have filled colours all around
Let me not forget You.
Let me confide in You, O Allah,
Until the day I meet You
You say You are pleased with me.
